Jacob&Co's most daring watch

It's been another fantastic year for Jacob&Co, whose founder Jacob Arabo pushes the boundaries of creativity with masterpiece after masterpiece. Over the past 25 years, the brand has made a name for itself by crafting beautiful jewelry and unique watches. This year is no different. As part of the fourth edition of Jacob&Co's "Gorgeous Timepieces and Jewelry Show" in Monte Carlo in August, the brand unveiled some of its most daring creations.

This year, Jacobs & Co. has expanded its line of epic XEPIC X Racing watches. The new colour version takes the sporty character of these timepieces to a new dimension, as they surround a specially constructed movement – ​​the exclusive Jacob and Co. caliber JA, which is designed as an open movement. Jacob&Co watchmakers and engineers added inserts to the unique case, adding color to the watch, while using new materials in the case. The two case styles are micro-blasted and satin-finished grade 5 titanium (EPIC X Racing Titanium watch) and black DLC-coated grade 5 titanium (EPIC X Racing Black watch).

Brilliant Allequino is unique. To create this timepiece, the studio's gem-setters had to adapt their techniques to meet the specific needs of each stone: a job that required patience, knowledge and dexterity. Crown set with 14 baguette multicolor sapphires and rose-cut diamonds on top. Add more brilliance to the Brilliant Arlequino with 132 sapphires and 22 baguette-cut white diamonds in a stealth setting.

The Palatial Classic manual large date mineral crystal timepiece is understated and elegant. The colourful mineral crystal dial: blue, green and red, underlines the timeless character and strength of this watch.

The 18k brilliant rainbow timepiece is a feast of sparkling colors. A veritable iridescent sapphire surrounds the elegant mother-of-pearl dial, with iridescent sapphire indexes and white diamonds taking center stage. The self-winding limited edition (101 pieces) Brilliant Rainbow showcases feminine sophistication, albeit opulent. White mother-of-pearl is set with 11 coloured sapphires, while the dial is paved with 50 brilliant-cut diamonds.

The highlight of the collection is the one-of-a-kind billionaire's timepiece exhibited for the first time at Baselworld. Decorated with no less than 260 carats of emerald-cut diamonds, this radiant timepiece showcases the meticulous ingenuity of the brand's heritage. The billionaire symbolizes Jacob&Co's passion for pushing boundaries (and, of course, for diamonds). In its center, below the gun-blue skeletonized hands, the skeletonized mechanism of the movement tells a story of unabashed luxury.

A gleaming work of art, the outstanding Art Deco D-Flawless vividly combines the brand's unique versatility with its total mastery of watchmaking. The skeletonized structure allows a view of the movement's many handcrafted parts and sculptural charms, making it a worthwhile purchase.
